Padel Artificial Turf

Technical term from the TOP GREEN Artificial Grass Glossary – clearly explained based on over 25 years of experience.

Briefly explained

Padel is played on sand-infilled artificial turf. The surface ensures even ball bounce and good grip during fast changes of direction.

Padel is a racquet sport played on a 20 × 10 m court enclosed by glass and mesh walls. Padel artificial turf has become the established surface: a short, dense artificial turf infilled with silica sand.

Requirements for the Surface

  • even, predictable ball bounce
  • good grip combined with controlled sliding during fast movements
  • high abrasion resistance under intensive use

Maintenance

Play causes the sand to shift unevenly and become soiled over time. Regular leveling and brushing, along with occasional deep cleaning, preserve the playing characteristics. Contact us about sports surface cleaning.
