Top Green Kunstrasenprofi (owner Sylvia Jonas) wants all people to be able to use the topgreen.de website without barriers – regardless of age, disabilities, or assistive technologies used. This statement applies to the website topgreen.de, including all subpages, guide articles, and lexicon entries in German.
Status of Accessibility
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA and the harmonized standard EN 301 549 serve as the benchmark. The website is largely compliant with these requirements. The content listed below is not yet fully accessible.
What We Do for Accessibility
- Clear page structure with logical heading hierarchy and clearly named navigation areas
- Skip links “Skip to main content” and “Skip to footer”
- Full keyboard operability with clearly visible focus highlighting
- Sufficient color contrasts for texts and buttons (minimum 4.5 : 1)
- Alternative texts for informative images; purely decorative elements are hidden from screen readers
- Labeled form fields and understandable error messages in the contact form
- Accessible controls: expandable areas (FAQ), product sliders, and dialog windows are usable via keyboard and screen reader
- Zoom and magnification up to 200% without loss of content; display adapts to all screen sizes
- Regular checks with automated testing tools (e.g., axe) and manual tests
Non-Accessible Content
The following content is currently not or only partially accessible:
- Third-party content: Embedded content such as the Instagram feed, map services, and the cookie notice are provided by external providers. We have limited influence on their accessibility.
- Foreign language versions: The English and Spanish versions of the website are being gradually revised and have not yet been fully checked.
- Images and reference photos: Individual older images in references and galleries do not yet have meaningful alternative texts. We are continuously adding these.
- Easy Language and Sign Language: We currently do not offer information in Easy Language or German Sign Language.
