TOP GREEN Artificial Grass ProfessionalArtificial Grass Glossary

Brushing Machine

Technical term from the TOP GREEN Artificial Grass Glossary – clearly explained based on over 25 years of experience.

Briefly explained

A brushing machine lifts the blades of artificial grass with rotating brushes and loosens dirt and infill. It facilitates the maintenance of larger areas.

A brushing machine (also known as an artificial grass brush or power brush) uses rotating brushes to lift the fibers against the grain. At the same time, leaves, dust, and trodden-in dirt are loosened, and the infill is evenly distributed.

Why Regular Brushing Is Important

Over time, the blades of grass flatten due to use. Regular brushing maintains the resilience and ensures a dense, natural appearance.

Cordless Brushing Machine from TOP GREEN

For gardens and smaller commercial areas, we offer a battery-powered, cordless brushing machine – details can be found under Artificial Grass Cleaning Equipment. For sports fields, larger maintenance machines are used; see Artificial Grass Cleaning.
