Premium chippings differ from standard chippings thanks to their very uniform grain shape and low proportion of fines. Common grain sizes include, for example, 1/3, 2/5 or 2/8 mm.
Use with Artificial Turf
As a thin levelling layer above the sub-base layer, premium chippings provide an even, highly water-permeable surface. An alternative is crushed sand, which can be compacted a little more firmly due to its fine content.
