The answer is not the same for every artificial grass. It should have the following properties: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>washed and dust-free so nothing sticks together<\/li>\n\n<li>rounded grains that do not damage the fibres<\/li>\n\n<li>dry so it trickles evenly<\/li>\n\n<li>the grain size specified by the manufacturer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unsuitable are building sand, play sand with a high fine content, or clayey sand \u2013 they compact, hinder drainage and promote moss. In principle: the sand only fills the lower part of the pile; the blade tips remain free.
