Common options include straight ground spikes with a head or U-shaped staples made of galvanized steel or plastic. <\/p>\n<h2>Where and How They Are Placed<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>along the edges at intervals of about 20\u201330 cm<\/li>\n<li>closer together at curves and cut-outs<\/li>\n<li>not through waterproofing membranes on roof terraces or balconies \u2013 there the turf is loose-laid or glued instead<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After driving in the pins, the fibers are brushed over the head so it remains invisible. Alternatively, or in addition, <a href=\"https:\/\/topgreen.de\/en\/lexikon\/artificial-grass-adhesive\/\">artificial turf adhesive<\/a> can be used to bond the <a href=\"https:\/\/topgreen.de\/en\/lexikon\/edging\/\">edge trim<\/a>.
