This is where a <strong>drainage mat<\/strong> is used: a plastic mat with studs or a grid structure that creates a cavity between the subfloor and the artificial grass. <\/p>\n<h2>Benefits<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Rainwater drains away under the artificial grass to the outlet<\/li>\n<li>the artificial grass dries faster, moss and odours are prevented<\/li>\n<li>minor unevenness and joints show through less<\/li>\n<li>in some cases, additional cushioning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A prerequisite is a sufficient <a href=\"https:\/\/topgreen.de\/en\/lexikon\/slope\/\">slope<\/a> of the subfloor.
